1. General Risk Warning
Use of cryptocurrencies and related payment services carries significant risks. By using Bitlink, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1.1. Cryptocurrencies are volatile assets and their value may fluctuate rapidly.
1.2. Digital assets are not legal tender in Switzerland or most jurisdictions.
1.3. Digital assets and crypto-to-fiat transactions are not covered by Swiss deposit insurance schemes.
1.4. Bitlink is not a bank and does not accept deposits from the public.
1.5. Bitlink acts only as a financial intermediary, processing crypto-to-fiat, crypto-to-crypto transactions on behalf of merchants.
2. Exchange Rate and Settlement Risks
2.1. Bitlink does not control cryptocurrency exchanges or market conditions. All exchange rate risks are borne by the merchant.
2.2. Bitlink cannot guarantee that the exchange rate applied will match the rate indicated on an invoice, quote, or at the time of order.
2.3. Settlement amounts may differ due to exchange rate movements, liquidity variations, and multi-currency conversion processes.
2.4. Bitlink does not guarantee the availability, stability, or accuracy of external exchange platforms used for conversions.
2.5. Bitlink does not provide hedging, guarantees, or compensation for losses caused by currency volatility or third-party exchange execution.
3. AML and Sanctions Restrictions
3.1. Bitlink does not accept business with sanctioned persons, entities, or organizations, nor with companies or individuals listed by:
3.1.1. The Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO)
3.1.2. The European Union (EU sanctions lists)
3.1.3. The US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
3.2. Any attempt to use Bitlink services for prohibited or sanctioned transactions will lead to immediate termination and, if required, reporting to competent authorities.
4. Countries We Do Not Service
This includes, but is not limited to:
4.1. US persons (domiciled in the United States, its territories, or otherwise taxable in the US).
4.2. Sanctioned or high-risk countries, including (non-exhaustive):
4.2.1. North Korea, Iran, Myanmar, Syria, Sudan, South Sudan, Russia, Belarus, Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua, Lebanon, Libya, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Kenya, Philippines, Vietnam, Haiti, occupied areas of Ukraine.
4.2.2. certain jurisdictions such as Moldova, which are excluded due to elevated sanctions exposure and regulatory risk assessments.
5. Merchant Responsibility
4.1. Merchants are responsible for ensuring that all transactions are lawful in their jurisdiction.
4.2. Merchants must ensure that their customers are not subject to sanctions and that their transactions are not connected to the following activities or sectors prohibited for service by Bitlink:
4.2.1. adult Entertainment Industry
4.2.2. alternative medicines
4.2.3. charity, NGO & non-profit organisations
4.2.4. exotic animals
4.2.5. military and arms trade
4.2.6. politics & public administration
4.3. Merchants must inform their own customers about the risks of cryptocurrency payments and cannot pass liability for exchange rate losses to Bitlink.

Bitlink does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice. Use of our services should not be interpreted as a recommendation to invest in, hold, or convert cryptocurrencies.
